Lucy Liu (born Lucy Liu) is an American voice actor as well as a director producer and singer. She is an attractive, intelligent actress who inspires numerous Asian actors to succeed in Hollywood. After a series of appearances in television shows that were popular and movies, she gained fame after being cast on the Ally McBeal legal comedy where she portrayed Ling Woo. After a sudden surge in fame, the actress got roles on the big screen such as Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. The film Kill Bill Volume 1, Quentin Tarantino, she gave a stunning performance as Japanese crime lord O-Ren Shii. In this period she was the main character in a few flops in the field including Rise: Blood Hunter. In the following years, she started voicing characters from animated films like Kung Fu Panda or Tinker Bell. Mia Mason's role in Cashmere Mafia, a small screen movie, did not bring about the results. Southland, the critically-acclaimed drama police drama that Liu starred in on a regular basis, was a role which allowed her to be a an internationally acclaimed as an actress.
